The Black Finish

This version comes in a matte black finish, made from a mix of iron, PMMA and PC. The dark tone keeps the fan understated on the ceiling and works well against white or pale ceilings, where it reads as a deliberate design choice rather than just a cooling appliance. It sits comfortably alongside black hardware, dark wood furniture and most modern colour schemes.

How It Works

• The 40W LED light is dimmable and colour tuneable, moving between 3000K and 6500K so you can shift from warm to cool white light as needed.
• The DC motor drives the blades at up to 270rpm, moving up to 95m³ of air per minute, and runs quietly enough for bedrooms and living spaces.
• The blades are reversible, so the fan can push air down for summer cooling or draw it up for gentler winter circulation.
• Everything, including light and fan speed, is operated from the supplied remote control.

Where It Works Best

With a blade span of 91cm when open, this is one of Mantra's smaller fans, suited to rooms up to around 10m². That makes it a good fit for bedrooms, home offices, children's rooms and smaller living or dining spaces where a large fan wouldn't suit the proportions of the room.

Is this fan quiet enough for a bedroom?
Yes. The Mistral Mini uses a DC motor, which runs more quietly than an older AC motor, making it suitable for bedrooms and other rooms where noise matters.

Can I use a wall dimmer switch with this fan?
No. Because it has a DC motor, this fan isn't compatible with a wall mounted dimmer. Light and fan speed are controlled from the supplied remote control instead.

Can I change the colour of the light?
Yes. The integrated LED is colour tuneable across a range from 3000K warm white to 6500K cool white, adjustable via the remote control.

Will this fan suit a large living room?
