A Ceiling Fan With Built In Lighting
The Mantra Himalaya combines a DC ceiling fan with an integrated LED light, so one fitting handles air movement and illumination in the same room. The enclosed blade design gives it a neat, contained shape rather than the open blade look of a traditional fan, and the light output is tuneable, so you can shift the colour temperature to suit the time of day.
Wood Effect Finish
This version of the Himalaya has a wood effect finish over a metal and acrylic body, giving it the warmth and grain of timber without the weight of solid wood. It reads as a natural, wood toned fan that sits comfortably against oak or walnut furniture, exposed beams or warm neutral schemes, while the metal construction keeps it durable for daily use.
How It Works
The Himalaya runs on a 35W DC motor, which is quieter and more energy efficient than an older AC motor. Blade speed and direction are reversible, so you can run it one way to push cool air down in summer and reverse it in winter to help circulate warm air that has risen towards the ceiling. The integrated 70W LED puts out 4900 lumens with a CRI of 80+, and the colour temperature is tuneable from 2700K through to 5000K, so you can move between warm white and daylight depending on the time of day. Fan speed, light output and colour temperature are all controlled by the supplied remote, the companion app or voice control through a compatible smart assistant.
Where It Works Best
With a 63cm diameter and enough airflow for rooms up to around 20 square metres, the Himalaya suits medium sized spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways. It works well as a single overhead fixture where you want light and air movement from the same point, rather than fitting a separate fan and pendant.
