Cabrera is not trying to be noticed. It is a small, round LED downlight designed to sit flush with the ceiling and simply do its job, which makes it useful in exactly the rooms where you want light, not hardware, to be the focus.

Choosing 3000K or 4000K

This 10.5cm Cabrera comes in matt white with a single design decision left to you: colour temperature. 3000K gives a warmer, more amber cast that suits bedrooms and living spaces, while 4000K is a cleaner, slightly cooler white that tends to work better in kitchens, hallways and home offices where you want a bit more clarity. The fitting and finish are identical between the two, only the light itself changes.

How It Works

The LED is integrated rather than a separate replaceable bulb, rated at 6W and producing around 540 lumens, and it is wired in parallel so several units can be run on the same circuit without one affecting another. It is a fixed downlight rather than an adjustable one, so once it is in place the beam is not directional. The cut out needed in the ceiling is 95mm, with the fitting sitting only 3.3cm deep once installed, useful where the ceiling void is shallow.

Cabrera is suited to kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and offices, essentially anywhere you want an even wash of light without a visible fitting interrupting the ceiling line. Because it is so shallow, it is a practical choice for flats or older properties where there is not much room above the plasterboard, and running several in a row along a hallway or kitchen ceiling gives a clean, repeated look.
