A Watchful Light Along the Path
Alpine stands tall and angles its head toward the ground, throwing a clean pool of warm light exactly where a path, step or driveway needs it. Cast in solid aluminium and finished in a deep anthracite, it reads as much like a piece of garden sculpture as it does a fitting.
The Anthracite Finish
This bollard comes in a single, deep anthracite finish, a fine textured powder coat that reads almost charcoal in daylight and disappears into borders and gravel after dark. The matt texture hides fingerprints and rain spots far better than a gloss black would, which matters on a fitting installed at knee height where hands and hosepipes inevitably brush past it.
How It Works
A single 12W LED is built into the angled head, tilted at 45 degrees so the beam is thrown down and outward rather than straight ahead. It produces a 3000K warm white light at 1020 lumens, generous enough to define a path clearly without the harsh cool white glare some outdoor bollards give off. The fitting carries a Class I electrical rating and an IP65 weatherproof rating, sealed against both dust and driving rain.
Where It Works Best
Alpine suits front paths, driveway edges and patio boundaries where a taller marker light is more practical than a low level spike. At 60cm high, it sits above most planting, so the light stays visible and functional even once borders fill out over a summer. Because the head angles rather than points straight down, one Alpine can usefully light a wider stretch of path than a purely downward facing bollard of the same height.
Made By Mantra
Mantra has been designing lighting in Valencia since 2000, building a reputation for giving ordinary buyers access to genuinely designer fittings rather than catalogue standard ones. Over more than 25 years the brand has grown from a Spanish regional supplier into a company distributing across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, a track record that speaks to consistent, dependable production rather than a fashionable new arrival. Alpine's clean, architectural lines are typical of the internal design team's approach to outdoor lighting, favouring simple geometric forms that work as well in a modern build as a traditional one.

Questions People Ask
Is the Alpine bollard suitable for an exposed, rainy garden?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, which means it is sealed against dust and protected against water jets from any direction, so exposed paths and driveways are no problem.
Can the bulb be changed if it fails?
No, the LED is integrated into the fitting rather than housed in a replaceable bulb, so there is nothing extra to buy, though this also means there is no bulb to align or replace over the fitting's lifetime.
What colour light does Alpine give off?
A warm white 3000K, closer to candlelight or an incandescent bulb than the cool blue white of many LED garden lights.
