The Black Finish

This version of the Alaska Mini is finished in black, with iron blades and a moulded ABS, PMMA and polycarbonate housing around the light. The matte black finish is understated rather than heavy, and pairs easily with black door and window hardware, dark wood furniture or other matt black fittings in the room.

How It Works

The 45W integrated LED puts out 2500lm of light, with tuneable white colour temperature across 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 5000K, so you can move from a warm evening glow to a brighter, cooler light for daytime tasks. The 25W DC motor turns the blades at up to 260rpm, moving up to 112m³ of air a minute, and is designed to run quietly. Both the light and the fan are controlled using the included remote control or the companion app, and the blades are reversible for winter air circulation as well as summer cooling.

With a blade span of 90.7cm when open, the Alaska Mini is sized for medium rooms of around 10 to 20m², such as bedrooms, living rooms, home offices or a dining room. It also works well in a child's bedroom, where separate lighting and cooling controls can be handled from a single fitting.
