A rustic bronze glow set into solid pine

The Sleeper bollard pairs a chunky, sustainably sourced Radiata pine post with a solid brass bricklight in a rustic bronze finish, giving a low, ambient glow rather than a bright spotlight. The natural grain of the timber and the aged look of the brass work together for a weathered, established feel rather than something obviously new.

Choosing your height and bulbs

This bollard is available at two heights, a 0.6m post or a taller 1m post, both with a further 0.3m sunk below ground for a secure fix. You can also choose whether the two G9 bulbs are included, so if you already have suitable lamps at home you can select the option without bulbs and save yourself buying a spare set.

How it works

The bricklight houses 2 x G9 3W warm white bulbs, either included or sold separately depending on which option you choose above. It runs directly from the mains, wired in parallel, with no separate driver needed.

Where it works best

Its low, wide light spread suits path edges, steps and border lines where you want gentle definition rather than a strong beam, and the natural timber body means it will suit a rustic or cottage garden setting better than a metal bollard would.

Do the bulbs come included?
It depends on the option you choose. We offer versions with 2 x G9 3W warm white bulbs included and versions without, so you can pick whichever suits what you already have.

What height should I choose?
The 0.6m post suits low borders and step edges, while the 1m post gives more presence along a driveway or boundary.

Is it suitable for a wet garden?
It carries an IP44 rating, which covers typical outdoor rainfall exposure, though it is not designed for submersion.
