An Aged Silver Sleeper, Anchored Firmly Underground

The Radiata Sleeper takes the same natural Radiata pine as the rest of the range and pairs it with a solid brass 'bricklight' head finished in aged silver, wide enough to hold two lamps side by side rather than one, for a broader spread of light along the ground.

Choosing your height and bulbs

Pick a 0.6m or 1m post above ground, both sinking a further 0.3m into the ground for stability, and decide whether to take the fitting on its own or with a pair of 3W warm white G9 bulbs already included so it arrives ready to wire in.

How it works

The bricklight head takes two G9 bulbs, up to 30W combined, and because it holds two lamps rather than one, light spreads more evenly along the ground than a single bulb post manages. It's rated IP44, runs on a 230 to 240V mains supply wired in parallel, and needs no separate driver.

Where it works best

The below ground portion of the sleeper anchors it firmly, resisting tipping or movement over time even in poor weather, which makes it a solid choice for steps or wider borders rather than a single narrow path edge. Compared with the slimmer Radiata post light, the twin lamp bricklight head here is suited to spots where you want a wider pool of light rather than a single point marker.

Does it come with bulbs?
Only if you choose one of the variants with 2 x G9 3W warm white bulbs included. Otherwise the two G9 bulbs are sold separately.

Is this suitable for exposed ground conditions?
It's rated IP44 and designed for in ground mounting, with the lower section of the post buried to anchor it firmly.

Will the timber show natural marks?
Yes. As a natural material, knots and splits are normal and part of its rustic character.
