Warm Bronze Detail for a Softer Take on Pine and Brass
Where the Aged Silver post leans contemporary, this Rustic Bronze finish gives the same solid pine and brass build a warmer, more weathered character, suited to settings where a softer tone fits better.
Choosing your finish and height
This listing carries the Rustic Bronze eyelid finish. The same post is also available in a cooler Aged Silver finish if that suits your setting better. For height, choose a shorter 0.5m to 0.6m post for tighter borders, or the taller 0.8m to 0.9m option for a driveway or path where you want the light set higher.
How it works
A solid brass eyelid fitting in Rustic Bronze directs light downward, keeping the beam close to ground level and out of your eyes. It takes a single G9 LED bulb, sold separately, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature. Wiring runs in parallel, allowing several posts to share one mains circuit.
Where it works best
The warmer tone suits period properties, courtyards and rustic garden settings, though it holds up just as well as its Aged Silver sibling along longer runs such as driveways, parks and walkways.

Questions People Ask
What is the difference between this and the Aged Silver version?
Both use the same solid pine post and brass eyelid fitting, this one simply carries a Rustic Bronze finish for a warmer tone, while the Aged Silver version gives a cooler, more contemporary look.
Do I need to buy a bulb separately?
Yes, it takes a G9 LED bulb which is not included, so you can choose your own brightness and colour temperature.
When is the best time to install a timber post like this?
Between October and March is recommended, avoiding waterlogged ground so the timber does not dry out too quickly once installed.
Moonlight Design recommends that all lighting is installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
