Two Directions of Light From One Slimline Post

The Sol-Icon splits its light in two, with independent LEDs and sensors on each side of a slim, tower like post, so a single fitting can do the work of two along a narrow path.

Choosing your light colour

Pick between Daylight White 6000K for a crisp, modern beam or Warm White 3000K for a softer, more traditional glow. If you are setting the post into wet concrete rather than surface mounting or spiking it into soil, add the Root Mount J-Bolts Kit option at checkout for extra stability.

How it works

Each side of the Sol-Icon has its own control button and PIR sensor, and can be set independently to one of three modes: PIR triggered (full brightness on movement, easing to 15% after 20 seconds of no activity), constant dusk to dawn light at 50% brightness, or off. Integrated Everlight SMD 3030 LEDs across both sides draw 20W and produce around 2000 lumens combined. The double sided design also helps with charging, since at least one face tends to catch available light through the day.

Where it works best

Because it lights both directions from a single slim post, the Sol-Icon suits narrow paths and walkways where you would otherwise need two separate fittings, and its independent sides make it easy to run different modes on each face if one side needs constant light and the other only needs to react to movement.

Can each side be set to a different mode?
Yes, each side has its own button and PIR sensor, so you could run PIR mode on one side and constant dusk to dawn light on the other, for example.

How long will it stay lit on a full charge?
Up to around 4 nights on PIR mode from a full charge, longer if only one side of the LEDs is in use.

Do I need the Root Mount J-Bolts Kit?
Only if you are setting the post into wet concrete. For surface mounting or soft ground, the standard fixings are enough.
