The Olympia is Lumena's Pro Solar path light for anyone who wants a genuinely robust, permanent fixture rather than a light weight garden stake. Its shaped diffuser throws an anti glare spread of light outward and downward in a soft wash, and the frosted polycarbonate detail keeps that light looking contemporary rather than harsh.

Choosing your light

Pick warm white (3000K) for a traditional, cosy glow along a path, or daylight white (6000K) for a cooler, more modern looking light. Both share the same 800mm post and external mounting base, so the choice is purely about the colour of light you want.

How it works

Integrated Epistar LED chips (there is no replaceable bulb here) push out up to 420 lumens from 3.5W through a 120 degree beam angle. A built in light sensor switches the Olympia on automatically at dusk, running at full brightness for the first hour before stepping down through 80% for 2 hours, 50% for 2 hours, and finally 30% for the remaining 9 hours, a cycle designed to balance visible light with battery life through the night. Power comes from a 5V 5.5W monocrystalline solar panel, rated for around 25 years of life, feeding a replaceable 3.2V 12AH LiFePO4 lithium battery that stores up to 23 hours of light on a full charge. The die cast aluminium body is IP65 rated.

This version of the Olympia is built around a robust external mounting base rather than a ground spike, so it suits a permanent position on a patio, path edge or driveway border where you want the post fixed down for good. Because it's solar, there's no cable run back to the house to plan around, which makes it a straightforward option for spots some distance from a mains supply.
