Scaled down from Lumena's taller Olympia post light, this 380mm pedestal suits spots where a full height post would dominate, gateposts, low garden walls, or as a lower, secondary layer of path lighting alongside taller fittings.

Choosing your finish

The choice here is colour temperature rather than material or colour, warm white at 3000K for a softer glow or daylight white at 6000K for a crisper, more contemporary look. The body itself is finished in black die cast aluminium with a frosted, striped polycarbonate diffuser.

How it works

Light from the integrated Epistar LED chips spreads outward and down through the frosted diffuser, keeping the effect soft rather than glaring. A built in light sensor switches the Olympia on at dusk, running at full brightness for the first hour before easing back through a staged sequence, 80% for two hours, 50% for a further two, then 30% for the remaining nine, so the charge lasts through even a long winter night. Power comes from a 5.5W monocrystalline solar panel, charging a replaceable 6.4V 5AH LiFePO4 battery good for up to 23 hours of runtime on a full charge.

Where it works best

Its shorter stature makes it a natural fit for gateposts, low retaining walls or as a lower level accent along a path, rather than the main lighting for a long driveway, where its taller sibling, the Olympia wall light, or a full height post might suit better.
