Halopost: A Glowing Marker for the Edge of a Path
Halopost trades a narrow beam for a broad, glowing halo, spreading light out through a thick frosted glass lens so paths are marked by a soft pool of light rather than a single hard spot.
Choosing your light colour
Halopost is available with either a Warm White 3000K light for a traditional, golden glow, or a Daylight White 6000K light for a cooler, more contemporary tone. Both versions share the same solar engine and output, so the choice comes down entirely to which look suits your garden.
How it works
A 5.5W monocrystalline solar panel, rated for around 25 years of use, charges a replaceable 6.4V 5Ah LiFePO4 battery through the day. After dusk, Halopost runs at full brightness for the first hour, then steps down through 80%, 50% and finally 30% output over the following hours, stretching a single day's charge through the night. Light spreads through a 10mm thick tempered frosted glass lens across a 120 degree beam, diffusing evenly rather than throwing a harsh point of light.
Where it works best
The wide, glowing spread suits paths, driveway edges and borders where you want a gentle marker rather than a bright spotlight, and because it's solar powered there's no cable run to plan, which makes it a straightforward retrofit on an established garden.
