The LEDifice trades the softer curves of a garden bollard for a taller, pointed pillar head built to survive knocks, weather and years of unattended use. It is designed for the kind of scheme where dozens of fittings need to look identical and keep working, car parks, apartment courtyards, retail perimeters and commercial paths.

Choosing your finish

This listing is finished in graphite black aluminium throughout, so there is no colour decision to make. What you are choosing instead is height, from a compact 0.4m up to a full 1.0m, whether it sits on a surface mounted base or is rooted into the ground (root mounting isn't offered at the shortest 0.4m height), and which colour temperature LED you plan to fit, warm or daylight white.

How it works

An IK10 rated head protects a clear, UV resistant polycarbonate diffuser, with silver aluminium louvres angled to spread light sideways while shielding the lamp from direct view. Inside, the fitting takes a single corn style LED lamp, a 20W unit is recommended for the best output, though this is not supplied with the fitting and is sold separately. Wiring is straightforward mains voltage, connected in parallel, with no separate driver to install.

Its scale and impact resistance suit larger, higher footfall spaces rather than a small domestic border, think shared driveways, car park rows or the approach to a commercial building, where four available heights let you build a visual hierarchy of lighting rather than a single uniform run.

Questions People Ask

Does the LEDifice come with a bulb fitted?
No. It is supplied ready to take a corn style LED lamp, with a 20W unit recommended, but the lamp itself is sold separately.

What is the difference between the surface and root mounted versions?
Surface mounted fittings bolt straight down onto an existing base, while root mounted versions have a longer body that is set into the ground with concrete for extra stability, useful where the bollard may be knocked or where a cleaner finish at ground level is wanted.

Is this bollard suitable for a commercial car park?
Yes. The IK10 rated head and heavy duty aluminium construction are built for exactly this kind of higher traffic, public facing setting.
