The LEDifice is built with a taller head than most bollards in the range, designed specifically to take a high output corn bulb rather than a standard lamp, so it can throw enough light across car parks and larger commercial approaches rather than just a garden path.

Choosing your height and mount

Sold in black only, the choice here is height and mounting method. It comes in 0.4m, 0.6m, 0.8m or 1.0m heights; the 0.4m is surface mounted only, while 0.6m, 0.8m and 1.0m can be specified either surface mounted on a fixed base or root mounted, with at least 400mm set into concrete for a sturdier, tamper resistant install.

How it works

Silver aluminium louvers inside the head cut glare while a clear UV resistant polycarbonate diffuser spreads light evenly downward. The fitting is designed around a 20W LED corn bulb, sold separately, and rated up to 60W maximum if a different bulb is fitted. It runs from the mains with no separate driver and is wired in parallel so multiple bollards can share a circuit.

The taller head and higher output make this the choice for large commercial or public areas, car parks and building perimeters, rather than a subtle domestic path light; the root mounted option adds further stability and impact resistance for busy public sites.
