The Hilospot twin spotlight throws a matching pair of up and down beams from a single fitting, giving walls, pillars and entrances a sharp, symmetrical wash of light. Cast in solid natural copper with polished brass detailing, it has the kind of weight and finish that ages well outdoors rather than looking tired.

Choosing your finish

This listing is finished in natural copper, a warm, reddish tone that will develop a soft patina over time as it weathers, adding character rather than looking worn. If you prefer something with more of an antiqued, deep bronze look from the outset, the Hilospot is also offered in a solid brass rustic bronze finish as a separate listing, so it is worth comparing photos of both before you decide.

How it works

Each Hilospot takes 2 x GU10 lamps rated at 240V, bulbs are not supplied, wired in parallel so both heads can be run independently. It connects straight to the mains with no separate driver required. The lenses accept dichroic colour inserts if you want to create a tinted accent effect rather than a plain white wash.

Where it works best

Its twin beam design suits gate posts, porch pillars and flat wall sections where you want light thrown both up and down from the same point, for example either side of a front door or along a boundary wall. Rated IP65, it is built to stay outside in wet weather without needing a sheltered spot.
