Twin Light, Built For The Coast

Some outdoor spotlights corrode within a couple of seasons near the coast, the Hilospot is not one of them. Machined from 316 marine grade stainless steel, it is built to shrug off salt air, driving rain and everything else an exposed garden or coastal property can throw at it.

One Finish, Chosen For A Reason

Hilospot comes in a single brushed stainless steel finish rather than a range of colours, chosen specifically because 316 grade stainless is the material that holds up best in harsh, exposed and coastal locations. If you want to change the character of the light rather than the fixture itself, compatible dichroic coloured lenses can be fitted over the lamps for a different effect.

How It Works

Two lamp holders face up and down from the body, creating a striking spread of light across walls, render or landscaping features. Hilospot takes 2 x MR16 12V lamps, sold separately, with each holder rated up to 20W. Being a 12V fitting, it needs a compatible driver or transformer to step mains power down, which is also sold separately.

Where It Works Best

Built for gardens, patios, entrances and exterior walls, and especially suited to coastal properties where standard finishes would not last. The up and down beam pattern works well for highlighting brickwork, render, pillars or planting either side of a doorway or boundary wall.

Yes, Hilospot takes 2 x MR16 12V lamps which are not included, along with a compatible driver or transformer to power it.

Can I fit this myself?
As this is a mains connected low voltage fitting, Moonlight Design recommends that installation is carried out by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Does the finish come in any other colour?
Hilospot is available in 316 marine grade stainless steel only, though dichroic coloured lenses can be added to change the look of the light itself.
