Vela skips white light altogether in favour of four fixed colours, red, green, blue and yellow, strung together for a festive, fairground feel rather than a soft ambient glow. It suits a pub garden, a party or any space that wants colour to be the point rather than an afterthought.
Choosing Your Length
Each Vela set is built from 5m sections carrying 10 lamps spaced 50cm apart, so 10m and 15m simply add further sections onto the same solar panel rather than being a separate design. A 5m run suits a single wall or doorway, while 10m or 15m stretches comfortably around a larger patio, pergola or beer garden.
How It Works
A high efficiency solar panel with its own ground spike and wall mount charges the built in batteries by day, with a USB-C port to top up charge manually if the weather turns dull. A full charge takes around 8 to 9 hours and gives roughly 70 hours of use, and the included remote switches between 8 lighting modes without needing to reach the panel itself.

The fixed red, green, blue and yellow palette suits spaces built around colour and atmosphere, pub gardens, parties and outdoor entertaining areas, rather than a quiet corner wanting a gentle white glow. Since it runs from its own solar panel, Vela also suits spots without an easy mains or 12V supply, as long as the panel can sit facing south in direct sunlight.

No, Vela is fixed to four colours only, red, green, blue and yellow. For a white or warm white finish, Lumena's Orion, Phoenix or Draco festoon ranges are built around white or amber light instead.
How long does it run between charges?
A full charge of around 8 to 9 hours typically gives about 70 hours of use, though this depends on the lighting mode selected and how much direct sun the panel receives.
Does it come with a remote?
