The Lumena Cosmic Ara gives you warm white and daylight white LEDs along the same 50m run, so you can choose a soft golden glow for relaxed evenings or a crisper, cooler light for a more contemporary look, and switch between them, or run both together, whenever the mood changes.

Choosing Your White

Rather than a single fixed tone, Ara's real choice happens at the remote. Pick warm white on its own for a cosier feel, daylight white on its own for a cleaner, more modern finish, or blend both together for a layered look with more depth across a hedge or tree. Warm white runs at 4000lm across the string (around 8lm per LED) with a CRI of Ra76, while daylight white sits at 3000lm (around 6lm per LED) with a CRI of Ra59.

How It Works

A monocrystalline solar panel (3.8W, 5V, 900mA) tops up three Li-Ion 18650 cells (3.7V, 1800mAh) through the day, with the panel supplied on both a ground spike and a wall mount so you can angle it towards the sun independently of where the lights hang. A USB-C port allows direct charging as backup during darker stretches of weather. Expect a charge time of around 8 to 9 hours for up to 100 hours of run time, depending on the mode and colour temperature in use, with the included remote controlling all 19 lighting modes, dimming and the on board timer.

Where It Works Best

With 500 LEDs spaced every 10cm across 50m, Ara suits larger hedges, trees, pergolas and fence runs where you want an even, ambient wash of light rather than a burst of colour.
