Rather than locking you into a single fixed LED, this AlvaLED spike light takes a standard GU10 lamp holder, so you choose the exact brightness, beam and colour temperature you want, and can swap it again later if your needs change.
Choosing Your Finish
Four finishes are available. Black powder coated aluminium is the most understated option, quietly disappearing into planting after dark. Garden Green blends into hedging and foliage. Titanium Silver anodised aluminium gives a lightweight alternative to stainless steel. Cocoa anodised aluminium mimics the look of polished copper. All four share identical hardware, so the choice is purely about which finish suits your planting and surfaces.
How It Works
The GU10 holder accepts LED lamps up to 20W, so lumen output, beam angle and colour temperature all depend on the GU10 lamp you fit (sold separately, not included). The head adjusts through around 180 degrees on its U shaped bracket, which can be surface mounted or pushed into soil using the supplied ground spike. It wires directly to mains power, with no external driver needed, and is wired in parallel so several units can share a circuit.
Where It Works Best
Use it wherever you want the flexibility to fine tune the light later, uplighting a shrub with a narrow spot lamp one season and a wider flood the next. For extra height in tall planting or exposed spots, an optional 40cm pole with a four fin ground spike is available to raise the fitting clear of low foliage.
