The Windsor Small Wall Lantern is a classic box lantern, with glass panels set in a slim metal frame that sits on a stepped back plate. Choose Your Metalwork and Bulb

Each lantern is made to order, with the metalwork finish chosen from the swatches above on this page when you order. Leverint offers antique black, bronze and pewter. The studio photo shows the Small in antique black with a lit filament bulb, and the second photo shows lanterns with dark frames beside a door. Because every lantern is hand crafted, the colour and texture of your lantern may vary slightly from the photos, and screens show colour differently from one device to another. How It Works

The lantern takes one E27 LED bulb. It is not supplied with one as standard, but you can add Leverint's T45 LED filament bulb from the dropdown above, or choose no bulb and fit your own. Leverint lists it as mains dimmable, so a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable bulb will let you soften the light. It is mounted flat to the wall, and the cable entry hole in the wall plate is centred horizontally and vertically. This is a hardwired wall fitting, so we recommend that it is installed by a qualified electrician, ideally one who is NICEIC registered.

Where It Works Best

The Small is the most discreet of the Windsor sizes, which suits a porch, a side door, a short stretch of garden wall or a compact hallway. Leverint suggests the range for outdoors, bathrooms and interiors, so it can also work on a bathroom wall. Two lanterns either side of a doorway give a tidy, balanced look, and a single one suits a smaller wall.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, and every Windsor lantern is made to order in the UK. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons. Leverint describes the Windsor as combining stainless steel with crafted glass.
