The Wimbledon Small Wall Light pairs a compact, softly ribbed glass globe with a slim angled arm, giving it a rounded, sculptural silhouette that reads as classic or modern depending on the finish you choose. Its size and shape make it a natural choice for hanging in a symmetrical pair either side of a mirror, bed or fireplace, though it works just as well as a single fitting.

This wall light is made to order in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in the clear ribbed glass and metal finish pictured, but Leverint blows the same shade in fine ribbed, transparent black, opaque white, ribbed twist and fine ribbed twist glass too, and plates the arm and backplate in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

It takes one E14 bulb, up to 40W, which isn't supplied so you can choose the warmth and style of lamp you prefer. The fitting is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and bulb. The arm projects 160mm from the wall and the whole fitting stands 245mm tall, with a 75mm arm rise from the backplate, so it sits close enough to the wall for a hallway or narrow landing. We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its soft, ambient glow suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways, and it works well either side of a mirror where a gentle wash of light is welcome rather than a bright downlight. Hung in a pair, it adds a calm, symmetrical rhythm to a room. Hung alone, it makes a quiet feature by a favourite chair or at the top of a staircase.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry to each piece they make.
