The Wimbledon Small has a soft, egg shaped body that narrows at the neck and swells out below, framing whatever bulb you hang inside it. It's a compact pendant, so it works just as well on its own over a small table as it does in a row of two or three above a kitchen island or breakfast bar.

Choose Your Finish

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in ribbed glass on a bronze toned fitting, but Leverint blows the same Wimbledon Small shade in Clear, Fine Ribbed, Transparent Black, Opaque White, Ribbed Twist and Fine Ribbed Twist glass too, and plates the fitting in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

It takes a single E14 bulb up to 40W, which is not included, so you can choose a filament shape that suits the open glass. It's mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb. The pendant hangs on a fabric sleeved cable with a 1 metre drop as standard, and the glass shade itself measures around 150mm across and 135mm high. As with all our pendants, we recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its small scale and open glass make it a natural fit for a kitchen, whether that's a single drop over a sink or a cluster over an island. It works equally well as a softer accent in a living room, dining room, bedroom or hallway, anywhere you want a bit of warm, glowing light without a heavy shade.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. According to Leverint, the studio draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders, Andrew Print, John Leveridge and Lee Rowland, bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry experience to every piece they make.
