The Wimbledon Medium Pendant has a gently rounded, egg shaped shade that tapers in at the base, giving it a soft outline rather than a hard edged geometric one. It hangs from a single cable on a compact ceiling rose, making it an easy fit above a kitchen island, dining table or bedside without dominating the room.

Choose Your Finish

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. The photos on this page show it in ribbed clear glass, with the metalwork in a dark bronze tone, but Leverint blows the same Wimbledon shade in Clear Glass, Fine Ribbed, Transparent Black, Opaque White, Ribbed Twist and Fine Ribbed Twist too, and plates the fittings in Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, Weathered Brass, Bronze, Polished Nickel or Satin Nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

It takes one E27 bulb up to 40W, not supplied as standard, so you can choose a filament or LED lamp to suit the look you want. The fitting is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and bulb. It comes with 1 metre of fabric sleeved cable as standard between the ceiling rose and the shade. We recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its medium scale and single drop make it a natural choice above a kitchen island, hung in a row of two or three, or as a single drop over a dining table. It also suits a living room, bedroom or hallway wherever you want one warm point of light rather than an even wash.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London. Its glassblowers shape every shade by hand rather than casting from a mould, and the studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons. Leverint's founders, Andrew Print, John Leveridge and Lee Rowland, bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry experience to every piece.

No. It is supplied without a bulb, and takes a single E27 bulb rated up to 40W, so you can pick the shape and warmth of light you prefer.
