The Wimbledon Large Pendant has a rounded, egg shaped shade that tapers gently at the base, giving it a softer profile than a plain globe. Hung on its own over a table or clustered in a row above a kitchen island, the wide curve of the glass puts the bulb on full display, so the shape of your chosen lamp becomes as much a part of the look as the shade itself.

Choose Your Finish

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in clear glass on the metal shown in the images, but Leverint blows the same Wimbledon shade in ribbed, fine ribbed, transparent black, opaque white, ribbed twist and fine ribbed twist glass too, and plates the fittings in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

The Wimbledon Large takes one E27 bulb, up to 40W, which is not supplied as standard so you can pick the exact tone and style of lamp you want. It's mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable bulb. The pendant hangs on a fabric sleeved cable, supplied at 1 metre as standard, dropping to a shade that measures 300mm in diameter and 330mm in height. As with any hardwired light fitting, we recommend it's installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its size and single, generous drop make it a natural fit above a kitchen island or dining table, where a cluster of two or three looks especially good. It also works well as a single statement pendant in a living room, bedroom or hallway, anywhere you want a warm, sculptural glow rather than flat, even light.

Made By Leverint

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London. Each Wimbledon shade is shaped by hand by their glassblowers rather than cast from a mould, so no two are ever perfectly identical. The studio draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry experience to every piece they make.
