The Waterloo XL Pendant takes Leverint's tapered teardrop silhouette and stretches it to a genuinely grand scale, with a long, gently curving profile that narrows to a slim neck at the ceiling. It reads as a single sculptural piece on its own or as a run of three or four above a long kitchen island, where its height and shape carry real presence without feeling heavy.

Choose Your Finish

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in ribbed twist glass on a bronze finish, but Leverint blows the same Waterloo XL shade in clear glass, ribbed, fine ribbed, transparent black, opaque white and fine ribbed twist too, and plates the fittings in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, polished nickel or satin nickel as well as bronze, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

It takes one 40W max E27 bulb, supplied separately so you can choose the warmth and style of lamp you prefer. The fitting is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and bulb, letting you take it from a bright task light down to a soft glow. The glass shade measures 280mm in diameter and 500mm in height, hung on a fabric sleeved cable with 1 metre supplied as standard, so it can be shortened easily on installation. As with all Leverint pendants, we recommend it's fitted by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its scale suits it to living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms and hallways where there is height to spare, whether that's as a single statement drop over a console table or landing, or repeated in a line above a kitchen island or dining table. It also works well in bedrooms as a soft, dimmable alternative to a central ceiling light.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. The studio draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders, Andrew Print, John Leveridge and Lee Rowland, bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry to each piece they make.
