A Slim Glass Column on a Wide Metal Disc
The Temple Tall Table Lamp is a slender hand blown glass column, just 60mm across, that stands on a wide plated metal disc and is topped with a plated lamp holder. The proportions are deliberately slim, so it takes up very little room on a compact console table, a desk or a side table while still giving a tall, clean line. It is hand blown in Leverint's London studio. Please note that the fabric shade shown in the photos is not included, so you can pair the base with a shade of your own choosing.
Choose Your Glass and Metal Finish
Each lamp is made to order in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen from the swatches above when you order. The glass column comes in clear or ribbed, and the photos show both, with the ribbed version carrying vertical ribs down the length of the glass. The photos show the lamp on one metal finish only, so use the swatches to see the full range. Leverint plates the metalwork in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel. Because the glass is blown by hand and the metal is plated by hand, the colour and texture of your lamp may vary slightly from the photos, and screens show colour differently from one device to another. If you are unsure about a finish before ordering, please call our customer service team.
How It Works
The lamp takes one E27 bulb. It is not supplied with one as standard, but you can add Leverint's T45 LED filament bulb from the dropdown above, or choose no bulb and fit your own. Leverint lists a 40W maximum on its technical sheet, and a low wattage LED filament bulb is the sensible choice beside glass. It comes with 1.5 metres of fabric sleeved flex and an inline switch, so it is a plug in lamp: unpack it, add a bulb and a shade, and plug it in. The inline switch is on and off only, so the lamp is not dimmable as supplied. If you ever want the lamp rewired or connected to anything other than the supplied switch, have that work carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
With a 60mm wide glass column on a 120mm base and a height of 325mm to the top of the lamp holder, this is a lamp for tight spots. Leverint recommends it for compact console tables, desks, side tables and similar surfaces, and its small footprint suits a narrow hallway console, a bedside table with little spare room or a home office desk. The wide base keeps the slim column steady, and the clear and ribbed glass let the bulb glow through the column as well as through the shade above.
Made By Leverint
Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where each piece of glass is shaped by hand rather than cast in a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons. A slim glass column like the Temple Tall keeps the focus on the glass itself, with the plated metal kept to a disc at the foot and a cap at the top.

Questions People Ask
Does the Temple Tall Table Lamp come with a shade?
No. The Leverint Temple Tall Table Lamp is sold as a base only, and the taupe drum shade shown in the photos is not included. It has a standard E27 lamp holder, so you can choose a shade to suit your room.
What glass and metal finishes can I choose?
The glass column comes in clear or ribbed hand blown glass. The metalwork can be plated in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel. Pick your combination from the swatches on this page when you order.
Will the Temple Tall Table Lamp fit on a narrow console or desk?
It is designed for compact surfaces. The glass column is only 60mm across and the base is 120mm wide, so the lamp needs a footprint of about 120mm. It stands 325mm high to the top of the lamp holder, before any shade is added.
Does the Temple Tall Table Lamp come with a bulb?
Not as standard. It takes one E27 bulb, 40W max, and you can add Leverint's T45 LED filament bulb from the bulb dropdown when you order, or choose no bulb and fit your own low wattage LED filament bulb.
Is the Temple Tall Table Lamp dimmable?
As supplied it has an inline on and off switch and is not dimmable.
How long does it take, and can I return it?
Each Temple Tall Table Lamp is handmade to order by Leverint in the UK, with a lead time of approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Because it is made to order in your chosen finish, it cannot be returned unless it arrives faulty.
