The Pimlico XL is the largest of the Pimlico globes, a single hand blown sphere of glass that hangs on a slim fabric sleeved cable. The Pimlico XL ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in ribbed twist glass on bronze toned metalwork, but Leverint blows the same globe in clear, ribbed, fine ribbed, transparent black, opaque white and fine ribbed twist glass too, and plates the metalwork in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

The shade measures 350mm across and 320mm high, and hangs on 1 metre of black fabric sleeved cable as standard. It's supplied without a bulb, so you'll want to have one ready for install day. As a hardwired ceiling fitting, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, ideally one who's NICEIC registered.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. According to Leverint, the studio's glasswork draws on more than a century of experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry to each piece. That hands on process means a globe as large as the Pimlico XL carries small, natural variations from one piece to the next, which is part of its charm.
