The Pimlico V3 Pendant is a rounded hand blown glass shade that hangs beneath a small polished metal ball, with the glass cut flat at the base. At 200mm wide and 226mm high it is a compact shape, and Leverint describes it as modern luxe statement lighting for kitchens, stairwells, living spaces and entrances. It looks as good in a small group as it does on its own.

Choose Your Finish

Each pendant is made to order in your choice of hand blown glass, plated metal finish and flex colour, chosen from the swatches and dropdowns above when you order. The photos show the globe in ribbed, fine ribbed and opaque white glass, as well as the ribbed twist and fine ribbed twist textures, which are available as an upgrade, with a polished brass toned ball and dark fabric flex. Leverint plates the metalwork in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, and the fabric sleeved flex comes in charcoal, whisky, slate grey, linen, coffee or khaki. Because the glass is blown by hand and the metal is plated by hand, the colour and texture of your pendant may vary slightly from the photos, and screens show colour differently from one device to another. How It Works

The pendant takes one E14 bulb. It is not supplied with one as standard, but you can add Leverint's G45 or T20 LED filament bulb from the bulb dropdown above, or choose no bulb and fit your own. Leverint lists a maximum of 8W LED for the pendant, so a low wattage LED filament bulb is the right choice inside the glass, and it is listed as dimmable using mains dimming, so it will work with a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable bulb. It hangs on a standard 1 metre drop of fabric sleeved flex, and Leverint can supply a longer length if you enquire. As a hardwired ceiling fitting, we recommend that it is installed by a qualified electrician, ideally one who is NICEIC registered.

Where It Works Best

The small globe suits places where a bigger shade would feel heavy: a pair over bedside tables, three in a row above a breakfast bar, or a single pendant lighting a landing or entrance. The ribbed and twisted glass textures break the light into fine lines, while opaque white gives a soft, even glow. Because every pendant hangs from its own flex, you can set them at the same height for a tidy line or stagger them for a more relaxed look.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons. The twisted textures show that skill clearly, as the ribs have to spiral smoothly round the shade.
