The Pimlico Small Sealed Rod Pendant hangs a softly rounded, hand blown glass sphere from a single fixed rod rather than a visible cable, giving the whole fitting a neat, uninterrupted line from ceiling to shade. It is a compact, considered shape that reads as sculptural on its own or repeated in a row.

Choose Your Finish

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in Fine Ribbed glass on a Polished Brass rod, but Leverint blows the same sphere in Ribbed, Opaque White, Ribbed Twist and Fine Ribbed Twist glass too, and plates the rod and ceiling plate in Brushed Brass, Weathered Brass, Bronze, Polished Nickel or Satin Nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

It takes one G9 bulb, 1.5W maximum, which is not supplied so you can choose the exact warmth and brightness you want. It is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and bulb. The rod comes at 1m as standard, with bespoke lengths available on request, and its sealed construction keeps the cable hidden inside the rod for a clean finish. We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its small scale and fixed rod make it a natural fit above a kitchen island, especially run in a line of two or three, and it works just as well as a single drop in a living room, bedroom or hallway. Grouped in a cluster of varying rod lengths, it also makes a striking feature over a dining table.

Made By Leverint

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders, Andrew Print, John Leveridge and Lee Rowland, bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry experience to each piece.

Can I choose a different glass or metal finish to the one shown in the photos?

Yes. The photos show the Pimlico Small Sealed Rod Pendant in Fine Ribbed glass on a Polished Brass rod, but you can choose Ribbed, Opaque White, Ribbed Twist or Fine Ribbed Twist glass, and Brushed Brass, Weathered Brass, Bronze, Polished Nickel or Satin Nickel metalwork, when you place your order.

Does it come with a bulb?

No. It is supplied without a bulb, so it needs one G9 bulb rated at 1.5W or less, which you can choose to suit the brightness and colour temperature you prefer.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. It is mains dimmable, provided it is paired with a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable G9 bulb.

Can I get a longer or shorter rod?

It is supplied with a 1m rod as standard. Bespoke rod lengths are available on request if you need it to sit higher or lower than that.

How many can I run above a kitchen island?

Its compact 140mm shade suits being run in a line of two or three across an island, or grouped in a cluster of mixed rod lengths for a more layered look.
