The Pimlico Small Sealed Flush Fitting is a neat, dome shaped light that sits close against a wall or ceiling rather than hanging down or reaching out into the room. Its hand blown glass shade is fully sealed around the light source, so it reads as one smooth sculptural object rather than a bulb inside a cage. At 140mm across, it brings real glass character to a spot where a larger fitting would not fit or would feel too heavy.

Choose Your Finish

This light ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you place your order. These photos show it in a swirled ribbed glass over a warm brass finish, but Leverint blows the same Pimlico shade in Ribbed, Fine Ribbed, Opaque White, Ribbed Twist and Fine Ribbed Twist glass, with the twist textures carrying a small additional cost, and plates the fitting in Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, Weathered Brass, Bronze, Polished Nickel or Satin Nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

It takes a single G9 bulb rated up to 1.5W, which is not supplied with the fitting, so you can pick the exact brightness and colour temperature you want. It is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb. The shade measures 140mm in diameter and projects around 65mm from the wall or ceiling, and because it is a sealed design rather than an open one, the light spreads out softly through the glass instead of shining straight out. We recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where its glassblowers shape every shade by hand rather than casting it from a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company G Farley and Sons, and its founders, Andrew Print, John Leveridge and Lee Rowland, bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry to every piece it makes.
