The Pimlico Mini Sealed Rod Pendant is the smallest size in Leverint's Pimlico sealed rod range. A hand blown glass sphere, with a shade that measures 100mm wide and 100mm high, hangs from a slim fixed rod instead of a visible cable, so the line from ceiling to glass stays clean and uninterrupted. It is a delicate, jewel like pendant that looks best hung low in small spaces or repeated in a group.

Each pendant is made to order in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen from the swatches and dropdowns above on this page. The photos show the Mini in fine ribbed, ribbed, opaque white and ribbed twist glass on a polished brass rod. Fine ribbed twist glass is also available, and the two twist textures are available as an upgrade. Leverint plates the rod and ceiling plate in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme. Because the glass is blown by hand and the metal is plated by hand, the colour and texture of your pendant may vary slightly from the photos, and screens show colour differently from one device to another. How It Works

The pendant takes one G9 bulb, 1.5W maximum. It is not supplied with a bulb as standard, but you can add Leverint's G9 LED filament bulb from the dropdown above, or choose no bulb and fit your own. Leverint lists it as mains dimmable, so it can be dimmed from a compatible dimmer switch when paired with a dimmable bulb. The rod length is made to specification, so it can be set to suit your ceiling height and how low you want the glass to hang. This is a hardwired ceiling fitting, and we recommend installation by a qualified electrician, ideally one who is NICEIC registered.

Where It Works Best

At 100mm across, the Mini is made for places where a larger globe would feel too much. Hung in a line of three or four above a kitchen island or breakfast bar, it gives a row of small points of light. Hung as a pair either side of a bed, it frees up bedside table space, and a group at different rod lengths makes a quiet feature in a hallway, a stairwell or a dining area. The opaque white glass gives a soft, even glow, while the ribbed and twisted glass breaks the light into fine lines.

Made By Leverint

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where each piece of glass is shaped by hand rather than cast in a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders bring decades of lighting design and glass artistry to every pendant. A perfectly round sphere this small is a good test of that skill, because the glass has to be blown evenly all the way round.
