The Pimlico Large Pendant is built around one simple shape done well, a generous round globe of hand blown glass that hangs on a single cord. There is no clutter to the design, just a clean sphere and a slim metal lamp holder above it, so the glass itself does all the talking. It works alone over a small table or in a row along a kitchen island or run of stairs.

Choose Your Finish

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. The photos here show it in a swirled, ribbed glass on a dark toned metal fitting, but Leverint blows the same globe shade in Clear Glass, Ribbed, Fine Ribbed, Transparent Black, Opaque White, Ribbed Twist and Fine Ribbed Twist glass, and plates the metalwork in Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, Weathered Brass, Bronze, Polished Nickel or Satin Nickel. Pick the combination that suits the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

The pendant takes one E27 bulb, up to 40W, which is not supplied with the fitting. It is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb. The glass globe measures 250mm across and 230mm high, and it hangs from a fabric sleeved cable set to a standard 1 metre drop, so it can be shortened by your electrician on installation. We always recommend having it fitted by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its size and round shape suit it to living rooms and dining rooms as a single statement drop, to kitchens where a cluster works well over an island or table, and to bedrooms and hallways where one pendant can anchor the whole room. Grouped in twos or threes, it also reads nicely down a stairwell or across a larger open space.

Made By Leverint

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing know how through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders bring decades of combined experience in lighting design and glass artistry to each piece they make.

How low does it hang?
