The Piccadilly Small Sealed Rod Pendant keeps its shape simple, a neat cylindrical shade held on a slim, fixed rod rather than a cable, for a tidy, upright drop. Its plain drum form gives soft, even light without shouting for attention, so it settles happily on its own or in a repeated row.

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in opaque white glass on a polished brass rod, but Leverint blows the same shade in ribbed, fine ribbed, ribbed twist and fine ribbed twist glass too, and plates the rod and ceiling rose in brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

Each shade takes a single G9 bulb, 1.5W max, not supplied as standard, and the fitting is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and bulb. It comes with a 1m rod as standard, with bespoke lengths available on request, and the glass is sealed onto the rod rather than left open, so the join stays clean. Because it runs from the mains, we recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its compact drum shape suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways alike, whether hung on its own above a console table or repeated in a line above a kitchen island. Grouped as a cluster of two or three at staggered heights, it also works well over a dining table or in a stairwell.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. The studio draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company G Farley and Sons, and its founders bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry experience to each piece it makes.

Does it come with a bulb?

Can I get a longer or shorter rod?

Because it's a single small pendant, it's often hung in twos or threes at slightly different heights, or in a straight line above a kitchen island, rather than used as one large fitting on its own.
