The Paddington XL is one of the larger shapes in the Leverint pendant range, a wide, gently curved drum of glass that swells out before tapering back in at the base. It has real presence without feeling heavy, and works as a single statement piece rather than needing to be grouped.

This pendant ships in clear hand blown glass, the only glass option for the Paddington shape, and your choice of plated metal finish, picked when you order. These photos show the fitting in a warm brass tone, and Leverint plates the same shade holder in Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, Weathered Brass, Bronze, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel too, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

The Paddington XL takes one 40W E27 bulb, which is not supplied as standard, so you can choose the exact style of filament you want visible through the clear glass. It is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and bulb. The shade measures 360mm across and 260mm high, and it hangs on a 1 metre cable as standard. The glass is open at the base rather than fully sealed, so the bulb sits proud within the shade. We recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Leverint Lighting is a hand blown glass studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. According to Leverint, the studio draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company G Farley and Sons, and its founders Andrew Print, John Leveridge and Lee Rowland bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry to every piece they make.
