The Kingston Medium Pendant takes its shape from a single falling drop, narrow at the neck and rounding out into a full, gently tapered body below. It's a simple silhouette, but the effect changes completely depending on the glass you choose, from a clean, clear finish that shows off the bulb inside to a ribbed texture that catches the light along its length. Hang one on its own over a small table, or line several up for a run of pendants above a kitchen island.

Choose Your Finish

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in clear glass on a nickel finish, but Leverint blows the same Kingston shade in ribbed, fine ribbed, transparent black, opaque white, ribbed twist and fine ribbed twist glass too, and plates the fitting in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

It takes one E27 bulb, up to 40W, which is not supplied as standard so you can choose the tone and style you prefer. The fitting is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb. The glass shade measures 180mm across and 300mm high, and it comes with a metre of fabric sleeved cable as standard so you can set the drop to suit your ceiling height. As with all our lighting, we recommend having it installed by a registered electrician.

Where It Works Best

The Kingston suits living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways alike. Use it on its own as a reading light beside a bed or armchair, run three or four in a line above a kitchen island or breakfast bar, or cluster several at different drop heights over a dining table or stairwell for a more sculptural, bespoke arrangement.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. The studio draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry to each piece they make.

Can I choose a different glass or metal finish to the ones shown in the photos?

Yes. The photos show one combination, but you choose your glass texture and your plated metal finish when you order, so the pendant you receive can look quite different from the images.

Does the Kingston pendant come with a bulb?

No. It's supplied without a bulb so you can pick the wattage, colour temperature and style you prefer, up to 1 x E27, 40W max.

Is this pendant dimmable?

Yes, it's mains dimmable, provided it's paired with a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable bulb.

How long is the cable, and can it be adjusted?

It comes with 1 metre of fabric sleeved cable as standard. An electrician can shorten this at installation if you need a tighter drop.
