A Wide, Low Dome With Art Deco Curves

The Jubilee Medium Pendant is built around a shallow, wide dome shade that curves gently down from a slim metal gallery to a broad, rounded rim. It has the clean, confident lines of art deco design, but sits just as comfortably in a modern kitchen or dining room. Because the dome is wide and low rather than tall and narrow, it spreads light out and down without ever feeling heavy overhead, and it looks as good hung on its own above a small table as it does grouped in a row along a kitchen island.

Choose Your Finish

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in clear glass on a dark bronze fitting, but Leverint blows the same dome shade in ribbed, fine ribbed, transparent black, opaque white, ribbed twist and fine ribbed twist glass too, and plates the metalwork in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

It takes one E27 bulb, up to 40W, not supplied as standard, so you can choose the exact tone and brightness you want. It is mains dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable bulb. The pendant hangs on a 1 metre cable as standard, and the dome shade itself measures 220mm across and 100mm in height. The glass sits open beneath the fitting rather than fully sealed, so the bulb is visible from below. We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Its low, wide profile makes it a natural choice for a kitchen island, where two or three hung in a row cast light exactly where you need it, and the lifestyle photos on this page show it doing just that. Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. According to Leverint, the studio draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders, Andrew Print, John Leveridge and Lee Rowland, bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry experience to every piece. That hands on process is exactly what gives the Jubilee dome its slightly individual character, since no two shades ever come out quite identical.

Yes. Does it come with a bulb?

How far down does it hang?
