LedsC4 Prolix Up & Down Wall Light - Matte Gold

LEDS C4 Prolix Up & Down Wall Light in Matte Gold is a faceted wall light that throws light both upward and downward from a single fitting, softening walls and corridors with a warm, ambient wash rather than a single hard beam. The matte gold finish gives it an understated shimmer that reads more brass toned than shiny gold under normal room light, so it sits well against darker walls and timber.

How it works

Prolix uses an integrated LED light source with a CRI of 90 at 2700K, putting out 325 lumens from 18.8W. It's dimmable via phase cut (mains) dimming, so it can work with a standard trailing edge dimmer switch. The body is PMMA and aluminium, wired in Class I, and measures 240mm high x 56mm wide x 90mm deep, with a 38mm diameter body.

Where it works best

Its two directional lens makes it well suited to hallways and corridors where a soft wash up and down the wall helps with wayfinding, and it also works well in kitchens or home offices as gentle accent lighting alongside a main light source.

LEDS C4 designs and manufactures its lighting in Torà, Catalonia, drawing on more than 50 years in architectural and decorative lighting.
