A Quiet Form, Hung Overhead
The pendant in Søren Refsgaard's Shibui range, its minimalist aluminium form suspended overhead rather than mounted or freestanding, available across three sizes.
How it works
Small stands 20cm high with a 28cm diameter on an E14 fitting; Medium stands 27cm high with a 38cm diameter on an E27 fitting; Large stands 33cm high with a 48cm diameter on an E27 fitting. All take a maximum recommended 20W LED (bulb not included) and hang on 300cm of round, black cord. We'd recommend a qualified electrician fits any hardwired ceiling pendant.

Made by Le Klint
Founded in Odense in 1943 by Tage Klint, Le Klint grew out of his father P.V. Jensen-Klint's earlier experiments around 1900, when he hand folded a petroleum lamp shade using an idea borrowed from Japanese origami. Esben Klint's 1942 Model 107 became the design that the brand's hand pleated paper shades are still known for, each one still folded by hand in Odense today by folders who take roughly a year to learn the technique and two or three more to master it. The Shibui pendant belongs to a newer strand of Le Klint's work, where guest designers like Søren Refsgaard explore the same minimalist outlook through materials such as aluminium rather than the classic pleated paper shade.
