Made By Le Klint
Le Klint's design story goes back to around 1900, when P.V. Jensen-Klint hand pleated paper into a shade for a petroleum lamp, an idea borrowed from Japanese origami folding. That craft was passed down through the family until Tage Klint founded Le Klint as a company in 1943, with Esben Klint's 1942 Model 107 becoming one of its enduring designs. The Carronade pendant, designed with Markus Johansson, belongs to a newer chapter of that story: a metal barrel shade rather than a pleated paper one, but built to the same Danish craftsmanship standards Le Klint applies across its collections.
