A Single Bloom Rooted In Light Oak
The tabletop companion to the Bouquet pendant range, designed by Sinja Svarrer Damkjær, brings the same single folded, flower inspired shade down onto a light oak and steel base for a desk, console or bedside.
How it works
It stands 36cm high with a 14cm diameter shade, fitted with a G9 socket and a maximum recommended 4W LED. It comes with an integrated light source and a flat, linen coloured mains cable measuring 170cm to a plug, so there's no ceiling wiring involved.

Its small footprint and warm, low output light suit a bedside table or a desk where you want ambient rather than task lighting.
Made by Le Klint
The pleating technique behind every Le Klint shade dates back to around 1900, when P. V. Jensen-Klint folded a shade for a petroleum lamp, borrowing the logic of Japanese paper folding rather than any lighting precedent already in use, and the family spent the decades that followed refining it as a craft of their own before Tage Klint set up Le Klint as a formal company in 1943. Esben Klint's Model 107 from 1942 is still one of the shapes people picture when they think of the brand, and the fold hasn't changed since: it's done by hand in Odense today, and Le Klint says a new folder needs around a year just to learn it and two to three years more to master it properly. This table lamp brings that same hand folded shade, in the single flower shape Sinja Svarrer Damkjær designed for the wider Bouquet range, down onto a light oak and steel base for a desk or bedside rather than a ceiling.

How long is the cable? It has a flat, linen coloured mains cable measuring 170cm to the plug, with roughly 20cm between the base and the inline switch and around 150cm from the switch to the plug.
Is this suitable for a bathroom? No. It's Class II insulated and rated IP20, so it's suited to dry indoor spaces rather than bathrooms or other humid rooms.
