A tabletop take on the Snowdrop shade, scaled down to a compact base that suits a side table, console or bedside. The same rounded, hand pleated bell shape sits atop a slim stem, keeping the design language consistent across the Snowdrop range.

Standard foil gives a bright, clean white that's simple to keep looking new; paper offers a softer light and a warmer surface that ages into a golden patina.

It stands 54cm tall with a 20cm diameter shade, takes an E27 fitting with a maximum recommended 11W LED (bulb not included), and runs from a flat, black mains cable to a plug.

Made By Le Klint

Every Snowdrop shade is pleated by hand in Le Klint's workshop in Odense, fold by fold, the same way the company has worked since P.V. Jensen-Klint first folded a shade for a petroleum lamp around 1900, taking his cue from Japanese origami. His son Tage Klint turned the technique into a company in 1943, and it's still a slow craft to learn: a new folder needs around a year just to learn the basic technique, and two to three years more before they can be trusted with the more demanding shapes.
