The Wider Flush Fold for Bigger Rooms
A larger flush mount version of Lamella, designed by Hallgeir Homstvedt and Jonah Takagi, scaling up the ceiling and wall fitting to a wider diameter while keeping the same curved pleat.

How it works
It projects 13cm from the surface with a 50cm diameter, on an E27 fitting (bulb not included), wired via a flat, white cord. We'd recommend a qualified electrician fits any hardwired ceiling or wall light.
Where it works best
Its wider spread suits a larger hallway, landing or living space ceiling where you want more coverage than the smaller 235 gives.
Made By Le Klint
The pleating technique behind this shade goes back to around 1900, when P.V. Jensen-Klint first folded a petroleum lamp shade by hand, borrowing the idea from Japanese origami paper folding. His family kept refining the fold over the years that followed, and in 1943 Tage Klint turned the craft into a formal company, a year after Esben Klint had designed the Model 107, one of Le Klint's most recognised early shades. That same hand pleating is still done today in the Le Klint workshop in Odense, Denmark, where it takes a new folder roughly a year to learn the fold and two to three years more to fully master it.
