The Tallest Tier in the Range

The 113 is the tallest pendant in the Plivello range, taking the same wide diameter as the 112 and drawing it out into a longer stack of pleated tiers. It's the statement piece of the collection, designed by Christian Troels in 2022.

How it works

It stands 97cm high with a 48cm diameter, on an E27 fitting with a maximum recommended 25W LED (bulb not included), and hangs on 300cm of round, white cord.

Where it works best

Its height suits a double height space, a stairwell or a large dining table where a single, tall pendant can anchor the room without needing a cluster of smaller lights.

From one glaring lamp to a family craft

The story starts around 1900, when architect P.V. Jensen-Klint folded a paper shade for a petroleum lamp to dim its harsh light, inspired by Japanese origami. The idea became a craft the Klint family kept refining, formalised as the Le Klint company when Tage Klint founded it in 1943, a year after Esben Klint had designed the heritage Model 107 pendant.

Pleated by hand, tier by tier

Every one of the 113's tiers is still pleated by hand in Le Klint's Odense workshop, the tallest stack in the Plivello range, using a technique it takes new folders around a year to learn and two to three years to master fully.
