Kichler Venetian Rain 3 Light Large Wall Lantern - Brushed Bronze

A Tall Three Light Lantern for a Traditional Entrance

The Kichler Venetian Rain 3 light large wall lantern is a tapered, elegant outdoor wall light with a beaded cornice, a small spire and a fluted finial at the bottom. It hangs from a curved bracket on a scalloped back plate, and the rippled glass panels glow warmly when the three candle style lamps are on.

Brushed Bronze Finish

The frame and back plate are in brushed bronze, a mottled, antique looking brown with a hint of copper. The glass has a rain pattern, like water trickling down a pane, which softens the light and hides the bulbs. In the lifestyle photos a pair of these lanterns sit either side of an arched wooden door in stone, which shows how well the finish suits old masonry.

How It Works

• Three E14 lamp holders, suited to candle style LED bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
• Dimmable when you use dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer
• Metal frame with rain glass panels
• Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water for outdoor use
• Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection

Where It Works Best

At 78.7cm tall, this size suits front doors with some height, arched entrances, double doors and larger porches. Use a pair either side of the door for a formal look, or a single lantern on a long wall by a side entrance. It needs some room to project, so check the space beside your door.

Questions People Ask

How tall is the large Venetian Rain wall lantern?
It is 78.7cm tall and 23.5cm wide, and it projects 34.3cm from the wall. That is taller than the medium 2 light version, which is 64.1cm.

Will it suit a stone or brick house?
Very well. The brushed bronze and rippled glass have an aged, Renaissance feel that looks natural on stone, brick and render, especially around an arched door.

Can I put it in a spot that gets wet?
It is rated IP44, which covers splashing water, so it is fine on a porch or beside a door. A little shelter from an overhang helps in heavy rain.

Are the bulbs included?
No. You need three E14 bulbs. Candle style LED bulbs are a good match, and dimmable ones allow you to control the brightness.
