Kichler Venetian Rain 2 Light Flush Fitting - Brushed Bronze

A Beaded Flush Lantern for Covered Outdoor Ceilings

The Kichler Venetian Rain 2 light flush fitting is an outdoor ceiling light that follows the look of its wall lantern relatives. A deep, rolled cornice with rows of raised beads sits at the top, and curved rain glass panels wrap the sides. Small ball feet decorate the bottom corners. It is a good choice if you want ornate detail in a porch ceiling without a long drop.

Brushed Bronze Finish

The metalwork is brushed bronze, a mottled brown with a slight copper cast, so the beads and rolled edge stand out. The glass is rippled like water on a window, which diffuses the two lamps and gives the fitting a gentle glow. The close up photos show how the beads catch the light.

How It Works

• Two E14 lamp holders, suited to candle style LED bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
• Dimmable when you use dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer
• Metal frame with rain glass panels, fixed flat to the ceiling
• Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water for covered outdoor use
• Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection

Where It Works Best

Use it on the ceiling of a porch, a covered entrance, a carport or a sheltered terrace. At just 14cm deep, it is a good answer where there is not much headroom. Pair it with the Venetian Rain wall lanterns for a matching entrance.

Made By Kichler

Leonard Kichler began making lighting in Cleveland, Ohio in 1938, and Kichler has kept going ever since, now from Solon, Ohio. The Venetian Rain flush fitting brings that heritage of ornamental outdoor lighting down to ceiling level.

Questions People Ask

How much room does it need?
It is 14cm tall and 23.5cm wide, so it fits a low porch ceiling comfortably.

Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, in covered spots. It is rated IP44, which handles splashing water, but a roofed porch or entrance is the best place.

Will it work with a dimmer?
