Kichler Vandalia 3 Light Large Chain Lantern - Textured Black

A Large Three Light Globe Lantern for Covered Outdoor Spaces

The Kichler Vandalia Large Chain Lantern is a generous, round hanging lantern with three candle style lamps inside a seeded glass globe. Slim black hoops curve around the glass in a cage, with a ring handle at the top for the chain. At 48.2cm tall it makes a stronger statement than the smaller Vandalia lantern, with more light to match.

Textured Black Finish

Here the finish is textured black, a flat, fine grained coating with a slightly rough, cast metal look. Because it is dark and matt, the frame reads as a graphic outline around the bubbled glass. The matching black chain and ceiling plate mean nothing in the drop looks out of place.

How It Works

• Three E14 lamp holders on a central candle cluster, suited to LED bulbs (not supplied)
• Dimmable when you choose dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer
• Steel cage frame and seeded glass globe
• Hangs on a chain, with an overall height that adjusts from 58.3cm to 244.2cm
• Rated IP44, protected against splashing water for covered outdoor use
• Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection

Where It Works Best

Its size suits a covered terrace, a wide porch, a gazebo or a garden room with a tall ceiling. Over an outdoor dining table one lantern gives enough light for a group, and on an entrance porch a single large lantern can be used as a feature. Use candle style LED bulbs to match the look of the lamps.
