Kichler Tournai Grand 4 Light Wall Lantern - Londonderry

A Grand Gothic Style Outdoor Wall Lantern

The Kichler Tournai Grand 4 light wall lantern is a big, theatrical outdoor wall light. A long ornate back plate carries a sweeping scroll arm, and the lantern hangs from it, with leaf shaped details, a crown of scalloped metal and clear seeded glass panels. If you want a front entrance that looks like a country house or a historic townhouse, this is the style.

Londonderry Finish

Londonderry is a dark, aged finish in deep brown and bronze, with coppery highlights that show along the raised edges. It looks like old cast metal that has weathered for decades, and it hides marks well. The clear seeded glass has a fine scattering of air bubbles, so the four lit bulbs shimmer rather than glare.

How It Works

• Four E14 lamp holders, suited to candle style LED bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
• Dimmable when you use dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer
• Cast aluminium body with seeded glass panels
• Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water for outdoor use
• Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection

Where It Works Best

At nearly a metre tall, this lantern needs a generous wall. It suits large front doors, wide porches, stone or brick gable ends and double garage doors. A pair either side of a main entrance looks very impressive. Fit it where the wall is solid and the back plate can be fixed securely.
