Kichler Tournai Grand 4 Light Extra Large Chain Lantern - Londonderry

A Majestic Hanging Lantern for Big Outdoor Spaces

The Kichler Tournai Grand 4 light extra large chain lantern is a big outdoor pendant with a lot of ornament. A crown of scalloped metal and curling scroll details sits on top, with leaf motifs across the glass panels and a decorative finial at the bottom. It hangs from a chain, and at 85cm tall it needs a high, covered ceiling to show it off.

Londonderry Finish

The finish is Londonderry, a dark, aged brown with bronze and copper tones on the raised leaves and crown. It has the look of old cast metal and does not show everyday marks. The clear seeded glass is full of tiny air bubbles, so the lit bulbs sparkle gently through the panels.

How It Works

• Four E27 lamp holders, suited to LED bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
• Dimmable when you use dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer
• Cast aluminium body with seeded glass panels
• Hangs from a chain, with a maximum overall height of 400cm
• Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water for outdoor use
• Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection

Where It Works Best

This lantern belongs in tall covered spaces, such as a grand porch, a double height entrance, a gatehouse or a covered walkway. The long chain lets it hang well above head height, so it works where a wall light would not give enough presence.

Made By Kichler

Kichler began in 1938, when Leonard Kichler started making lighting in Cleveland, Ohio. The company is based in Solon, Ohio today. The Tournai range is known for its heavy textures and fine detail, and this chain lantern shows that off at a generous size.
