A Caged Single Pendant With a Mercury Glass Heart
The Kichler Rosalie Single Pendant is an egg shaped cage of slim metal ribs wrapped around a cylinder of antique mercury glass. The bulb glows through the speckled glass and the open frame throws a soft pattern outward. It is a decorative single pendant that feels traditional but sits well in a fairly modern room.
Sterling Gold Finish
Sterling gold blends silver and gold into one soft, slightly weathered tone. The ribs have a gentle, mottled texture that looks hand finished, and the chain and ceiling fixings match, so the whole drop looks like one piece. Inside, the mercury glass has a cloudy, antique mirror look that warms up when it is lit.
How It Works
- One E27 lamp holder, suited to an LED bulb (not supplied)
- Dimmable with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer
- Steel cage frame around an antique mercury glass cylinder
- Hangs on a chain, with an overall height that adjusts from 61.1cm to 243.2cm
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
It may need some simple assembly when it arrives.
Where It Works Best
Hang a row of two or three over a kitchen island or breakfast bar, or use a single one in a hallway, by a bed or in a stairwell. The slim shape takes up little floor space and leaves the view across a room fairly open. A warm white LED bulb with a visible filament looks lovely through the glass.

Questions People Ask
How long can the drop be?
The overall height adjusts from 61.1cm to 243.2cm, so it works over an island, in a hall or on a high landing.
What size is the pendant itself?
The fitting is 52.8cm tall and 30.4cm wide, so it is quite a presence over a table or worktop. Space several at least a shade width apart.
Can I dim it?
Yes, if you fit a dimmable E27 LED bulb and use a compatible dimmer.
Does it have a shade or just the cage?
It has both. The metal cage is the outer frame, and a mercury glass cylinder sits inside around the bulb to soften and speckle the light.
