A Traditional Globe Lantern For Sheltered Outdoor Spaces
The Kichler Halleron 3 Light Chain Lantern is a round, glass globe lantern that hangs from a chain. Seeded glass is held by slim banded metal ribs, with three candle bulbs in the centre and a small finial at the bottom. It has the polish of Victorian era design, and suits an outdoor chain lantern spot such as a porch or a covered entrance.
Burnished Bronze Finish
This one is finished in Burnished Bronze, which on this fitting appears as a soft, pale antique metal with a hint of champagne rather than a dark, heavy bronze. It gives the lantern a gentle, lightly aged glow that works well against stone, brick and painted woodwork. The glass has fine bubbles throughout that sparkle in the light.
How It Works
- Three E14 lamp holders, suited to LED candle bulbs (bulbs not supplied)
- Dimmable with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer
- Brass and aluminium frame with clear seeded glass
- Hangs on an adjustable chain
- Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water for sheltered outdoor use
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
Where It Works Best
Hang it in a porch, a covered doorway, a glazed entrance or a sheltered garden room. In a double height hallway, the long chain lets it hang at a comfortable height. A single lantern makes a focal point, and two over a long entrance hall look elegant.
